One year ago today.
We had no idea what was to come.
We had no idea we would be sent immediately to the emergency room.
We had no idea we would spend the next three days in Children's Hospital.
We had no idea how this would change our lives and hers......forever.
We had no idea how overwhelming her care would now be.
We had no idea how this would change her........and us.
Type 1 Diabetes......
One year ago today.

I didn't realize how ill Ashlyn was last year. I can see it in her picture. So glad she looks like the picture of health this year. What a contrast.
